Articles in North & South cover every aspect of the Civil War—military, political, social, economic, diplomatic, etc. Military articles cover everything from grand strategy to small unit tactics, battles and campaigns, weapons, specific units and individuals, and military intelligence. Many of the articles are on the cutting edge of ongoing research—written by authors who are writing, or have just completed, a book on the subject. We are interested in history, not propaganda of either side, and articles are written from a variety of perspectives. Here are some sample pages from articles.
